One of the reasons this website was born was to give more flexibility to the authors. We have been blogging for a while and also writing articles which have been posted on various websites around the world. But we really wanted to branch out and start writing our own stuff where we can post code and ideas and things that will run to demonstrate how it really looks. An article on another site is very much limited to the sample you provide with it and some code illustration, but what we wanted to do was to have a place where people can actually run the code and see it work.

We are a close group of friends working for Microsoft and we all joined on the same day working on the same team. Although you will find us the most “un-like” minded individuals but together we bring a lot of cool stuff to the table. One common thing we share though is the passion for technology. An old saying goes...

We are very passionate about what we do, writing code, troubleshooting issues and learning more and more everyday. And that’s what we want to bring out using this site through scraps, articles on anything related to technology and our thoughts around it.

Here is a brief bio about the members on the team >

Vignesh : Vignesh loves living near the edge and has biked across the Ladakh region in the Himalayas covering the highest motorable roads in the world. He also enjoys trekking, rafting, meeting strangers and tripping on a lot of other stuff. He is extremely passionate about snooker and has been honing his potting skills on the green baize for the last 10+ years. He used to spend most of his day solving the problems of the world related to ASP.NET and IIS. Currently, he is working as a Team Manager for SQL.

Praveen : Praveen has around 9 years of experience and all of it in Microsoft technologies. He started off his career working on C++ and COM and moved on to the world of web, sharpening his skills in ASP and then in ASP.NET. He is currently working as a development lead in Microsoft based out of Hyderabad. His current interests are in Silverlight, MOSS, WCF, ASP.NET, AJAX etc. He is happily married, and have two daughters... Taveisha and Neisha. Most of his spare time is spent playing with them.

Rahul : Rahul loves technology, and wants to dive really deep into it, especially in the .NET world. His Microsoft stint started in Oct, 2004 as a support engineer for ASP.NET. Then, he moved on to become a Technical Lead in ASP.NET/IIS space. He is currently working as a Product Field Engineer for Sharepoint. He dreams of making it big in authoring and consulting arena. He also likes listening to different kinds of music and spending time with his wife and a really naughty daughter... Anika.
